  Barrel

  A barrel is a clarinet accessory responsible for a perfect timbre.

  It helps to achieve the sound with greater resonance and harmonic richness, providing a lovely velvet timbre, maximum amplitude of sound and an extended flexibility of a dark, symphonic timbre.

  Florian Popa has managed to create a complete, one-piece clarinet bell with no added rings. Rigorous research resulted in the clarinet bell with an absolutely perfect resonance and sound projection that helps to achieve the sound with greater resonance and harmonic richness.

  Cut Bell

  Cut bell is ideal for interpretation of music, it responds to any challenge realated to the sound projection, and provides a feeling of full sound liberty and maximum flexibility.

  This bell is specially designed for clarinet, because the clarinet is the only acoustic isntrument that projects the sound downwards (towards the floor), unlike other instruments that project it to the front, in the straight direction.

  Obviously enough, the clarinet sound projection in an orchestra ensamble is not going to be ideal. A big part of its harmonics do not combine with the harmonics of the other instruments in an orchestra. 
  
  Due to this reason the acoustic field of a clarinet is being deformed by the contact with the floor, and as a result of this friction the undesired sound vibrations are provoked.
  

  Due to the precision cut, allows the clarinet's lower wall to push the sound flow towards the upper wall, heading it to the sound projection level of other musical instruments.

  Reeds

  The efficiency of a reed depends on the quality of its materials and its design. One of the biggest problems that we face when acquiring reeds packs is the difference existing even between the reeds in the same pack. Reeds tend to be very different in terms of response.
  
  We make sure that ClarSax Popa reeds packs contain absolutely identical accessories in terms of their response.

  We produce reeds for Eb Clarinet, both traditional in design unique and personal concept. 

  The unique enviromental-friendly concept of the cut was developed in order to produce our reeds, while all the materials for the accessories are carefully and thoroughly selected by researcher and professional clarinetist Florian Popa.
